Hollywood Land

From Hidden Mickey Wiki
Hollywood Land is a themed land at Disney California Adventure park at the Disneyland Resort. The area is inspired by the 1930s Golden Age period of Hollywood and hosts attractions themed to this concept, including a backlot of a typical Hollywood studio. The land opened as Hollywood Pictures Backlot with the park in 2001. The land's entrance once had towering studio gates that featured intricately carved elephants atop massive columns. The gateway was a tribute to the spectacular epics made throughout Hollywood history, especially pioneering director D. W. Griffith's 1916 silent film "Intolerance".

Unknown Inside in the main lobby area, while the big screens are displaying animation examples, the sequence that covers 'Aladdin' shows a still of a view of the city from above, at night. It is seen thru a cloud break with the streets of the city lit up to form lines and such. There is the outline of a Hidden Mickey in the lower left of the scene. This show repeats itself all day long and takes about 20 minutes to cycle. So this scene does appear constantly thru out the day.

Hidden Mickey
Found
On the Monsters Inc. ride, towards the very end, an orangeish skinny monster has a camera and is filming you. Just to the left of him theres a TV set. Now if you look just below the screen there is a sort of panel (like the one on real TV sets when you lose the remote). On this panel there is a dial, it is in the shape of Mickey's head. I didn't believe my sister when she told me but when the cast member overheard her yelling "it was the dial" he nodded in agreement.
